Some key quests that most monks are going to want to complete are your racial quests when you first make your way to Qeynos or Greater Faydark. I strongly suggest that all players take advantage of the newbie quests in the starting areas to get your starting gear. It'll save you time (because you level while you quest) and coin (because it's free!).

As you get older, you'll also want to get in on the level 20 armor quests which will be the first gi for a lot of you! Once you go gi, you'll never go back. The armor quest can take you all the way up to level 30 and is some very nice experience.

If you have the Echoes of Faydwer expansion, then you'll want to check out our deity guides and pick the deity that is right for you. You'll find a couple of really good options for the monk, but it will all depend on how you play! Start these quests when you are high level enough and complete them as you go. You'll find that the deity miracles and blessing can be very helpful in combat.
