Two words describe the Warlock subclass: sustainable
damage.  While wizards are the elemental
masters of direct damage (DD) spells (meaning they have the most spells
that pack

the greatest punch up front), Warlocks have the advantage in Area of Effect
(AoE)
spells, which can devastate multiple opponents at once with poison and disease spells. 

 

We have our share of DDs, buffs (attribute
augmentations),
and debuffs (attribute diminishment spells) too, along with the ability
to turn
our favorite groupmates into toads, bats, and rats of course!
