There have been some comparisons made between the Diablo series and Gazillion’s upcoming online action RPG title, Marvel Heroes, and rightly so. The creator, David Brevik, is one of the visionaries behind the first two games in the Diablo series. Following a bit of Diablo III controversy related to one of Brevik’s gamescom interviews, Marvel Heroes has even been referred to as the spiritual successor to Diablo II by Gazillion. Come next month, some fans will have a chance to judge for themselves how accurate that statement is.

Closed beta is set to kick off for Marvel Heroes on October 1st, 2012. Fans that would like to take part in the event should make sure that their email is up to date on the Marvel Heroes website.
