Its been 12 years since Funcom opened the doors to Rubi-Ka and welcomed players to the world of Anarchy Online, and while the initial maiden voyage of the game was plagued by quite a few issues, its managed to grow and evolve over the last decade. With the 12th anniversary just around the corner, Funcom has revealed new event plans, content, and loot set to release this week.
Starting on Thursday, June 27th, Anarchy Online will begin its 12th anniversary celebration with a new update. The update will include the new Borealis event, which will allow players to join the rebel clans to aid in the fight for freedom, or help the Omni-Tek secure their position in Borealis. A new series of events will take place in the area as part of the anniversary celebration.
In addition to the new faction content, players will also receive a free Ganimedes Personal Jetpack from the item shop, new anniversary loot, and a subscription offer for 3, 6, and 12 months that includes 50% more game time and the Dust Brigade Parasite Helmet.
