APB (All Points Bulletin) developer Realtime Worlds has had its share of financial hardships of late that resulted in layoffs. However, things seem to have gotten a bit worse as Realtime Worlds has entered into Administration. Gamasutra reports that Begbies Traynor will act as administrator and decide if Realtime Worlds can continue on as a company or if the studio can recover by liquidating assets.

An official statement has also been posted to the APB website explaining that APB will continue on without interruption and continue to receive regular updates.

As you may or may not have already read, RTW has recently announced that it has entered into administration. When reading this news, you’ll probably be wondering what effect this will have on you, the players.

Well, the good news is that it doesn’t. APB will continue to run, receive updates and is completely accessible. There will be no disruption to the service.
