Last week Blizzard announced plans to enact their planned one-time wipe of Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft accounts to coincide with the release of the CCG’s first major beta update. This week Blizzard has provided details of what that update will include. The short version – the update will add new Daily Quests, balance a number of classes, update the animations of several Golden Cards, improve the crafting UI, and streamline the social options of Hearthsone to make interacting with friends easier. Additionally, Play Mode and Arena mode will be improved, allowing players to level to 60 in ranked or unranked modes as well as improving the rewards.

The release date for Hearthstone’s account wipe and new update hasn’t been set just yet, so stay tuned and we’ll update you when Blizzard sets the date. In the meantime, be sure to read the latest update for more patch details.
