CCP today added new email verification as part of their ongoing improvements for EVE Online account security. As of today, any new account created will be sent an email with instructions on how to validate their email with the system. Existing accounts can optionally verify for added security. Additionally, CCP is also adding a feature to allow players with multiple accounts to view them all as well as log in to them with the username already filled in.
The new feature is part of a required set of security changes that will be coming down the development pipeline as well as ensure that CCP has a clear line to players for petitions and account issues.
