City of Titans, the fan-made spiritual successor to City of Heroes formerly known as The Phoenix Project, headed to Kickstarter last week hoping to raise $320,000 to develop the project. Less than one week into the campaign, City of Titans has already exceeded that goal with 27 days to go and over $330,000 in pledged funding as of this writing.

Following the closure of City of Heroes last November, fans rallied to begin work on The Phoenix Project to give a home to displaced players. With the Kickstarter fully funded, it’s onto the stretch goals and the inevitable march to launch. With any luck we’ll be hearing more from the City of Titans team in the near future.
