We're all accustomed to the strange and macabre that comes with each new Comic-Con. Sometimes it's a lot of people simply having fun, but at other times things take a somewhat stranger turn. This year at Comic-Con Fred Phelps, founder of the Westboro Baptist Church and adamant anti-gay activist, once again arrived with his followers to host another protest at the event, but the protesters found some strange opposition from patrons of the San Diego Comic-Con. ComicsAlliance was in attendance to capture a little video of the rather colorful protest as the Westboro Baptist Church protesters were met by an opposition protest that included superheroes, Jedi, Starfleet Officers, and Jesus. Nostalgia Chick of Channel Awesome was also in attendance and has loaded up a video of her own from the protest. Give them both a look and tell us what you think on our forums.
