With the latest patch, Destiny's Eververse Trading Company has now gone live to the masses of guardians waiting to get their emote on. The real cash shop lets you convert your earthly dollars into Destiny "Silver", which can then be used to purchase a variety of different emotes and dance moves for any occasion. You can check out the full patch notes that include the details on the reinstated Iron Banner crucible mode as well, but we've included the section that focuses exclusively on the new shop.

Tess Everis has returned from her vacation and is now back at her station in the Tower

  • Added a new currency, Silver, that can be purchased from console stores
  • Tess's booth has been given a facelift to reflect her new venture with the Eververse Trading Company

While Bungie has promised to keep the contents of the new store completely cosmetic, there have already been concerns that game breaking items or shortcuts may be added in an attempt to increase sales once the novelty of new dance moves has worn off. Whether this comes to fruition or not, it's hard not to get excited about being able to break into the carlton dance mid-raid.
