Who doesn’t love a dose of fresh new content? EverQuest II (EQII) will be getting a healthy sized dose later this month. Producer Holly Longdale posted her latest missive this week detailing plans for the MMORPG going forward into 2013, and provided some juicy new details for what’s in store later this month.

The next major game update is slated for release on February 26th, 2013, and will add a new two-player group dungeon in Wurmbone Crag, a new raid version of the Ethernere ship zone of Dreadcutter, inventory enhancements, new daily, weekly, and monthly objectives for items, and a significant update to PvP.

Additionally, Longdale also announced a few changes to the EQII team.

Exciting news on the team front too. Kyle "Kander" Vallee is now charging ahead as the Lead Designer of EQII as Akil "Lyndro" Hooper becomes the Creative Director. And to help keep the game in greatness, Nathan "Kaitheel" McCall is now an Assistant Lead Designer.

You can expect to hear more about the next update in the coming weeks.
