If you've been waiting to get your hands on Blizzard's latest venture, Heroes of the Storm, now is your chance. Not only do you get your hands on beta access, but you'll start off with 2,500 gold, a sweet mechanized golden wolf mount, three bonus skins, and the following heroes unlocked: Diablo, Raynor and Tyrande. These items will be available during the duration of the beta and will extend over to the game when it goes live. The only downside currently is that the Founder's Pack is available to the Americas, Australia, New Zealand and Souteast Asia, with no word on when it will become available to additional areas at this time (although the game is available in more languages beyond where the pack is available in). Heroes of the Storm is available for both Mac and Windows systems and requires a Battle.net ID for purchase and logging in. The pack retails for $39.99 USD.

For more details, please see the official announcement.

What we do know at this point is that Blizzard is preparing to transition Heroes of the Storm into closed beta, which will likely be the next announcement we hear from the studio. Heroes of the Storm is a competitive brawling game that expands throughout the entire Blizzard universe, pulling heroes from their titles like Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo and Overwatch. To coincide with this announcement, Blizzard has released a new trailer, “Step into the Nexus” which is created by animation studio, Carbot.
