Things got a bit tense heading into the last few days, but Free Range Game's CCG/RPG hybrid Labyrinth has successfully hit its goal on Kickstarter, with more than 1300 backers pledging $156,781 to make sure the project is funded.

(If you're not caught up with what to expect from Labyrinth, check out our intro article here, or TTH's own Veluux showing off the demo right here.)

“On behalf of the Free Range Games team, I’d like to thank everyone who supported Labyrinth on Kickstarter and to those that helped us spread the word about the game. We can’t wait to get Labyrinth into the hands of our awesome supporters and gamers worldwide.”

- Chris Scholz, president and founder of Free Range Games

With funding now secured, Labyrinth is currently in development for both the PC and Mac, with a release on Steam coming in 2016. The fusion of collectible card game and strategy RPG has a lot of fans excited, and should bring something fresh and unique to the table.
