I'm amazed that they still have employees.

Despite exceeding Wall Street expectations for this year, after a disappointing earnings forecast EA announced that they'll be performing yet another round of layoffs in the near future.

As part of the restructuring plan, EA will lay off 350 people, about 4 percent of its 8,200 employees. Additionally, the company is shutting down its office in Chertsey, England and certain other undisclosed locations.

The changes will take place over the next two years. The undisclosed number of job cuts the company acknowledged last week are included in the layoffs. EA will take a charge of $90 million to $110 million - mostly in this fiscal year - related to the changes, but expects the restructuring to result in annual cost savings of $25 million to $30 million.
