TERA Producer Patrick Sun served up his final letter to the community of 2013 over the weekend to take a look back at 2013 in the action MMOG and tease what lies ahead in 2014. In 2013, TERA converted to a free-to-play model back in February and delivered several content updates that added new dungeons and raids such as Wonderholme. Shattered Fleets, Kezzel’s Gorge, and more along with the new PvP battlegrounds of Champions' Skyring and Corsairs’ Stronghold. But more content lies ahead in 2014.

One of the first pieces of new content that players can expect to experience in January is the new battleground of Kumasylum, which will let players for the first time play as BAMs (Big Ass Monsters). Also in January, additional enhancements will be added to subscription perks and the new Rootstock festival will get underway. Later in the year, players can expect to see new dungeons and other things that the devs aren’t ready to talk about yet.
