With the upcoming Division update 1.2, the game's developers hope to make sweeping fixes to the Dark Zone, in particular how loot drops operate there. Loot changes are reportedly going to be "generous" which can only mean that activities that previously rewarded little loot will have their drop rates increased. There will also be an additional Dark Zone bracket added for players that are over 200 gear score. The new bracket will offer a higher level of difficulty for the chance at greater rewards.

There has been no confirmed release date for the patch yet, but many are speculating that it should be here around mid month.
