Titanfall wont be following the current industry trend of requiring you to pre-order to join the beta test. Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella recently took to Twitter to discuss the upcoming beta with fans, confirming that players that havent opted to pre-order the game will still have the chance to join the beta. Unfortunately you'll have to wait a while longer to get the scoop on how you can join the testing.
@x_Ramone will not require a pre-order, but no more details than that yet... =/

Though you won't need to pre-order to get into the beta, Zampella would give it to those first if possible.
You will not need to have the game preordered to get in the beta. I'd give it to them first for supporting us if it were possible tho =)

While the details havene't been finalized, we could be getting the scoop on the upcoming Titanfall beta pretty soon.
#supersecret announcement time. I'm sure no one has been able to guess from the leaks. PC and XboxOne Beta! Details in the coming days

Waiting for things to be approved before we can announce any more details. Should be soon...

Zampella also had some good news for video content creators on YouTube and Twitch. Unlike the alpha, beta may not be as restricted with its NDA clause, so posting videos or livestreaming may be permitted.
@iDoriitoz should be, it won't be restricted like the alpha

In any case, we should know what the deal is soon, so stay tuned.
Titanfall is scheduled to launch in NA for PC and Xbox One on March 11th, 2014.
