Many people have been wondering what Halo developer Bungie has been up to since they finished up Halo Reach for Microsoft.

Last month rumors surfaced that the developer was working on a new MMOG under the rumored name of Destiny for publisher Activision. Bungie lead network engineer David Aldridge confirmed during a GDC panel yesterday titled "I Shot You First: Networking the Gameplay of Halo: Reach" that the developer is indeed developing an MMOG as their next project.

The rumors that surfaced last month referred to Bungie's new project as "WoW in space", but Aldridge stated during the panel that the title of the game is not "WoW in space". Unfortunately, Aldridge served up little else on the topic nor did he confirm the rumored name of Destiny as the projects title.
