Territorial control and resource productions are two key points of gameplay for Pathfinder Online, so naturally the early iterations are still ongoing to make them as good and fun as they can be. Ryan Dancey’s latest blog delves into several changes to the various Hexes associated with gameplay in Pathfinder Online, and how they’ll affect the world.

The first thing that the blog touches on is improvements to the territory control to make settlement lose the climax of a conflict rather than a single step goal. In order to accomplish this, the settlement hexes have been broken up into seven smaller hexes, providing more units of territory to fight over. Dancey also explained that this will not make the current size of the game any smaller, but it may actually make it larger due to there being more hexes.

You can read more about the various types of hexes, escalation of conflicts, and other changes in Dancey’s full blog.
