As announced by BioWare last month, Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) implemented its new name only log in system today, making the use of your display name mandatory for logging in to both the game and website. Make sure that you have this name available the next time that you try to log in, otherwise you’ll need to request an automated email to retrieve it.

The display name only log in is part of changes to help enhance SWTOR account security.
