The August Celestials are one of the factions introduced in the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria expansion. Dedicated to protecting Pandaria, dedicated to protecting the land they love from the evils of the Sha. The August Celestials are based in the four temples of Pandaria and it is here that dedicated players will ultimately find the way to work their way into their good graces.

Earning Reputation with the August Celestials

To begin earning reputation with the August Celestials players must first reach level 90. On top of reaching the level cap, players will also need to complete the quest "A Celestial Task", which requires you to reach Revered reputation with the Golden Lotus, another faction added in World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria. This quest can be picked up from either Sage Lotusbloom in the Shrine of Two Moons (Horde) or from Sage Whiteheart in the Shrine of Seven Stars (Alliance). Both these locations are inside the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

When "A Celestial Task" has been completed players will then be able to begin completing daily quests for this faction. To learn more about August Celestial daily quests continue on to the section below.

August Celestial Daily Quests

After meeting the prerequisites outlined above, players will be able to take on the daily quests for this faction. Daily quests for the August Celestials are currently the best way to earn reputation. Unlike other factions who's daily quests come from one location, players will find themselves sent to the four temples located in Pandaria. To discover which temple will require your services each day players need only to speak with their Quartermaster: Sage Lotusbloom in the Shrine of Two Moons for Horde players or from Sage Whiteheart in the Shrine of Seven Stars for Horde players.

There are four possible introductory daily quests from your faction's August Celestial Quartermaster:

• Trial at the Temple of the White Tiger
• Attack at the Temple of the Jade Serpent
• Challenge at the Temple of the Red Crane
• Defense of Niuzao Temple

Each of the above quests will lead you onward to one of the temples on Pandaria, as well as to the daily quests you will be completing that day.

Temple of the White Tiger

The daily quests found at the Temple of the White Tiger are made up of 1 one pop daily quest and another daily quest that chains into a longer line. Completing daily quests here will earn you around 1,250 reputation with the August Celestials. The quests available here can be found below:

Single Quest

The single daily quest can be one of two choices:

• The Torch of Strength
• Contending with Bullies

Daily Quest Line

The daily quest line in the Temple of the White Tiger is given by Xuen and can be one of two each day:

• Round 1: Brewmaster Chani
• Round 2: Clever Ashyo & Ken-Ken
• Round 3: The Wrestler
• Round 4: The P.U.G

or

• Round 1: The Streetfighter
• Round 2: Kang Bramblestaff
• Round 3: Master Boom Boom
• Round 4: Master Windfur

Temple of the Jade Serpent

When players arrive at the Temple of the Jade serpent they will be asked to complete three separate daily quests out of five possibilities:

• Arrows of Fortune
• Behind the Masks
• Hidden Power
• Saving the Sutras
• The Darkness Around Us

After the first three daily quests are complete one of two daily quests will become available:

• The Shadow of Doubt
• Flames of the Void

Daily quests at the Temple of the Jade Serpent will yield around 1,100 reputation when all are complete.

Cradle of the Chi-Ji

At the Cradle of the Chi-Ji you will find three daily quests up and waiting for you:

• Chasing Hope
• Gifts of the Great Crane
• Students of the Chi-Ji

After completing these first three quests, Thelonius will offer you an additional daily quest. This daily quest requires that you are a champion of the Chi-Ji. To become a champion you must complete a list of 15 fights, each corresponding with a daily quest. Every time you complete the daily quests at the Cradle of the Chi-Ji, you will progress through this list and be given a new quest. The list of 15 quests is as follows:

• Ellia Ravenmane
• Minh Do-Tan
• Ellia Ravenmane: Rematch
• Fat Long-Fat
• Julia Bates
• Dextrous Izissha
• Kuo-Na Quillpaw
• Ellia Ravenmane: Revenge
• Tukka-Tuk
• Huck Wheelbarrow
• Mindel Sunspeaker
• Yan Quillpaw
• Fat Long-Fat: Rematch
• Thelonius
• Ellia Ravenmane: Redemption

When you have completed the entire list of 15 quests you will complete the Champion of the Chi-Ji achievement and from then on you will always be given Champion of the Chi-Ji as your final quest from Thelonius.

Niuzao Temple

At the Niuzao Temple players will discover four daily quests waiting for them. Ogo the Elder will provide one of two of the following daily quests, each of which earns around 350 reputation:

• The Unending Siege
• The Siege Swells

Other NPCS here will provide you with the other 3 quests out of six possible, each rewarding around 250 reputation:

• A Blade is a Blade
• Fallen Sentinels
• In Battle's Shadow
• Paying Tribute
• The Big Guns
• The Overwhelming Swarm

August Celestial's Buff

When Honored reputation is reached with the August Celestials player's will benefit from a special addition. It is at this time that you will be able to buy a Celestial Offering from the Quartermaster. Having this item on your character will enable you to obtain a buff while you are completing you daily quests. This buff will change depending on which temple you are nearest at the time.

August Celestial Rewards

Gaining favor with the August Celestials will garner the player a vast wealth of rewards. Everything from armor and weapons to patterns and mounts, the August Celstials have it all. Stop by your faction's August Celestial Quartermaster to check out the rewards available to you.
