Gamers love options, yet so many MMOG companies persist on sticking
with one type of business model to earn money from their players. Cody
"Micajah" Bye looks at a new variant on the "standard" business models
and how the Fury developers may have found a gold mine in making that
decision.


Thankfully, I've just seen the light at the end of
the tunnel.
Recently, the developers behind the upcoming MMOTPS, Fury, released
their business model to the scrutinizing eye of the public. The
developers seemed to have taken ideas from both Guilds Wars and
Runescape in their plans, but the end result may work out splendidly.
