PAX East 2013: Marvel Heroes Reveals Launch Date and New Villains Trailer

Posted Sat, Mar 23, 2013 by Martuk

Gazillion Entertainment’s free-to-play action RPG, Marvel Heroes, has officially been dated for release. During today’s PAX East panel, Gazillion revealed release date details for the game along with the assurance that PvP will be included at launch, which I’m sure was in no way a subtle poke at Diablo III’s PvP shortcomings at launch and beyond...maybe more of a sharp elbow. Gazillion also offered a few details about endgame content by way of specialized “Ultimate Powers” for each hero that can be gained once the story mode is complete by spending duplicate Hero Tokens.

In addition, Gazillion revealed a new Marvel Heroes trailer that shines a light on the villains of the Marvel universe. Give it a look below.

Marvel Heroes is scheduled to launch on June 4th, 2013 with early access available on March 28th. Founders Packs are available for pre-order via the Marvel Heroes website.
