New Video shows why we're excited about TOR.
Star Wars: The Old Republic has been making a lot of waves this week. From the now-infamous micro-transaction discussion to announcing the licensing of the the HeroEngine, the BioWare crew is keeping very busy.
Amongst all of this other news, BioWare as rolled out a new video that shows gameplay footage as well as snippets from the development team. Beyond the graphics (which are coming along quite nicely), the theme of the show is "choice." If you listen closely (actually not that closely) you will hear almost every person in the video say that players will have a choice (or decisions). The other key component is the story. This is not new, since the day the game was announced, storyline continues to be hammered home by the BioWare team. If they can combine the player decision story-telling with the combat shown, we will witness something special.
The amount of polish on the video shows that BioWare is taking everything very seriously. The drool factor is quite high, so run (do not walk) to the website for BioWare's Video Documentary #1 and then let us know what you think.
