It has now been a bit over a week since BlizzCon 2010, and while the event is over, it will be remembered. In addition to BlizzCon coverage last week the TenTonhammer network posted your weekly fix of World of Warcraft guides and content. This time around we looked at giving both the Goblin and Worgen race a home on the network, we covered the changes made to Warriors in 4.0.1 and talked about the new PvP zone of Tol Barad, making for a pretty busy week.

In WoW news this week, there was big controversy that came up as a result of the BlizzCon WoW Arena finals. In addition Michael Morhaime talked about WoW, and of course there was the annual pumpkin carving contest. All that and details about the direct download version of WoW: Cataclysm were released.

BlizzCon 2010 was as always a weekend filled with gamer bliss. Packed with epic tournaments, informative panels, exclusive sneak peeks, and exciting contests keeping track of the important points over the two days is a difficult job indeed. BlizzCon 2010: World of Warcraft Dungeons and Raids Panel Overview

A lot of new information comes out of BlizzCon each year as we discover more and more about the changes coming soon to a World of Warcraft near you. This year at the Raid and Dungeons Panel information on patch 4.1.0 was revealed along with the background on a lot of design decisions in regards to instances. Introducing Tol Barad

Tol Barad is Cataclysm's equivalent of Wintergrasp. It is an island off the coast of Gilneas where Horde and Alliance will vie for dominion of Baradin Hold and the raid instance beneath it.

Tol Barad is divided into two sections: the main island housing the Tol Barad Prison complex, and the peninsula to the north. These two areas are connected by a bridge on the north end of the main island. Tol Barad peninsula will serve as a daily questing area similar to the Isle of Quel'Danas. Whichever faction controls the island will have access to even better daily quests and rewards.
