Got leaked a little early...

Age of Conan is gearing up for a very large patch sometime next week, probably Tuesday the 19th. Some tweaks are small, some tweaks are big. But I can guarantee you that every class will see at least something change. Also with extensive changes is the game's PvP system. Since I don't play Age of Conan myself, I don't know how many of these are earth-shattering or not, but I can tell you there are a LOT of changes.

o If the attacking guild takes over a battlekeep, any city guards that are left will now despawn.
o Players can now only spawn a ballista while the city is vulnerable to attack.
o Catapult progress bar no longer shows Trebuchet Blast.
o Once the siege battle is finished, the siege weapons and siege camps will now be properly disposed of.
o Ballista siege weapons will no longer cycle between all targets they have. They will use the last target instead, making them more useful in combat.
o If you get teleported out of a battle you will now end up in the nearest NPC village of the connecting resource and building playfield, instead of ending up in the nearest city.
o The siege camp in Burnheim which previously spawned at the wrong location will now spawn at the proper location.
o It's now possible to get a replaced siege targeting module if you lost one. Simply target the weapon and press the use button to get a replacement.
o Only the defending guild can talk to the ballista builder NPCs.
o The siege camps will now give a message when they are used when the city isn't vulnerable.
o Player city guards are now friendly to the guild that owns the city.

And that's just the PvP changes. There isn't a game system that isn't touched by these patch notes. Keep in mind though, that not everything is guaranteed to make it to live - at least in this patch. And here is my favorite note:

* Many typos corrected in quests and dialog.

Always got to appreciate that.
