Champions Online's closed beta will soon be coming to an end making way for the open beta process then finally release! How can you get your hands on one of these coveted open beta keys? Cryptic has released the details of open beta for fans sharing that open beta will be available for pre-order customers and that FilePlanet will have a whole lot of keys to hand out.

Cryptic and Atari are happy to announce the details for the upcoming Open Beta for Champions Online! As previously announced, open beta will begin on August 17th. Starting on August 5th, the open beta client will be available for download on a first-come, first-serve basis on FilePlanet. The site will be giving away 50,000 keys to North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. To sign up, visit their Champions page or preorder through any of our retailers or Direct2Drive.
