Welcome to the 17th and FINAL Issue of Clan Soup. That's right folks, the cupboard is closing up. It's been an absolute pleasure doing this feature each week, but with clans settling into their routines and the hype of recruiting over, there just isn't enough zest left to dish out...
But that doesn't mean we're not dishing out Soup still! Even though these weekly updates are coming to an end, we're always accepting new guilds for our weekly Interview and Showcase feature.
If you've not signed up for the Soup yet, that means you're not scheduled for an interview yet either! To remedy this situation simply send your guild's name, website (if they have one) and a contact e-mail to jobildo at tentonhammer dot com.
Get your guild on the interview schedule today, send JoBildo that e-mail! Or if you'd prefer, send him a PM on the Ten Ton Hammer forums. Either way will ensure your group's everlasting glory on the interwebs!
We've got one last round of views from a few of our guilds this week, so without any delay, let's dive right into the pot and get our soup on.
Question of the Week
"How have the members of your guild taken the recent Necromancer changes?"
Born In Chaos: I can honestly say that the necromancers in BiC have no complaints about the patch. Out of the 100+ members of BiC- we have no active necromancers who are over level 10!
Brotherhood of the Spider: Some of the necromancer changes are good and we are happy to see Funcom paying attention to our class. Unfortunately, some of the changes are so off base that they show a disconnect from the player base.
Funcom announced that it was going to have class leads to serve as the voice of the players, but this has come to pass. I think that Funcom needs to take a little more time getting real feedback from the players who play the classes before they make sweeping changes to a class.
The first step was the test server...this is good. The second, and most crucial is taking the feedback from test and forming it into something viable on the live server.
Cleaning Up
That's it for this week folks... and for all time!
Remember though, we're always looking for more guilds to feature and showcase in our interview segment, so be sure to drop a line to JoBildo either via PM on the forums or be e-mailing him at jobildo at tentonhammer dot com.
Until we meet in Hyboria, eat well and keep those blades sharp fellow Hyborians!
