Season of  Dawn arrives on December 10th.  This is everything we know so far.

The teaser for Destiny 2 Season of Dawn has dropped and with it some interesting tidbits.

The greatest Titan of all time, Saint-14, friend and ally of Osiris is not dead.  His story has been told from a distance across both Destiny and Destiny 2 through lore items and exotic weapons.  His helmet, for instance, is an exotic item.  He may need that back.

Season of Dawn will take place on Mercury with activities like The Sundial, which will have six players working together to complete the objective.  A new artifact, the Lantern of Osiris will come into play with another 100 levels of gears, ornaments, engrams, etc. to be acquired by progressing.

Season pass owners will receive some items like the Exotic Symmetry scout rifle earlier than non-pass owners.

We don't expect Season of Dawn to be as content-heavy as Season of Undying, but a season light on content may not bode well for player numbers.

One perk that players have been asking for for almost two years is the ability to drive their sparrows on Mercury.  Huzzah!  That will now be a reality.  The 40-second run will now take 15 seconds.

In many ways, Mercury and the Curse of Osiris expansion that took place there are considered the worst parts of the game.  It's a wound that never truly healed among veteran players.   Perhaps this is the chance to finally make the planet a place that players look fondly upon.

If you haven't watched the Season of Dawn Trailer, I suggest you take a look.  Good stuff!
