The Mounts

In any Virtual World, it's important to have transportation of some kind. If you don't you can plan on spending most of your playing time running from "Point A" to "Point B" just to get to where you need to go. While it gives you that feel of "realisim" and "immersion", it also gives you feelings like "Annoyance" and "Frustrated anger that causes you to stick your head in a gas oven". Gamers also aren't ok with "Just a horse" for transportation. The mount needs to look a certain way and add to your character somehow. Your transportation must be astheically pleasing as well as functional.

Well, if EA Mythic knows anything, they're fully aware of the picky nature that MMO gamers tend to have. In the latest newsletter, EA Mythic unveiled the different types of mounts they plan to have in the game. Along with this unveiling, they provided concept art for these mounts and I have to tell you, they have the asthetics down solid.
