Free-to-play is a term growing in popularity with online gamers and developers and Silverlode Interactive has decided to jump on the free-to-play bandwagon with their persistent online massively-multiplayer real-time strategy game, SAGA. With the game's latest update, the full game that was once sold for $19.95 is now available to players for free.
All the paid features are available to players without having to purchase the former paid client. In addition to the switch, SAGA also received an infusion of new content and the lifting of some old restrictions.

The Tuesday Patch will also bring a lot of new content to the game, as well as removing the old alliance restriction, which means players of both the Brotherhood and Order Factions can quest and chat with each other. Some of the additions include raising the nation level cap to 40 and the unit level cap to 15. New territory quests have also been added, allowing players to expand their kingdoms.
