The Star Trek Online open beta is about to come to a close and Cryptic Studios plans to end things with a bang. Starting today (Tuesday) at 2pm PST a Klingon invasion fleet will form up near Qo'noS. Klingons wishing to join the invasion fleet can rendezvous there. The fleet will be headed for an undisclosed Federation territory, so Starfleet ships, be ready.

A massive Klingon Fleet is forming near Qo'noS for an invasion into Federation Territory. Klingon Warriors who wish to join this fleet may rendezvous near Qo'noS at 2pm PST (We're GMT -8 right now).

This little event apparently isn't the only thing Crypic has up their sleeves. When someone on the forums mentioned some people might be gone before the event, Stormshade, Cryptic's Online Community Rep., keeping true to Cryptic's name responded with this rather cryptic statement.

If they do, they'll miss out on the other surprises...
