Drake Talon Wrymguards

These will be the new guys in the “trash pulls”. They are exact copies of Overseers but have two new fun abilities. The first ability is a brood power (see below and remember they will have one magic vulnerability that will take near double damage) and the second ability is just EXTREME DAMAGE. These guys hurt a ton so be ready for a tough challenge!

Brood Power Green – This is a stun effect so use two tanks on this one.
Brood Power Red – Does 1000-1500 damage per second in a debuff that can stack up to five times. Worry not though, fire resist gear will negate a lot of it. Lots of healing for the one tanking this one.
Brood Power Black: Instant attack 1000-1200 damage.
Brood Power Bronze: Bronze is a fun one as it makes the tank turn into a whirlwind that can damage nearby allies. Just have your ranged DPS take this one out.
Brood Power Blue: AOE Mana Burn and attack speed debuff (50%). Keep away from casters and it should be easy.

These guys will be mixed in with overseers and other “trash pulls”. The pulls are the exact same as before, so head back to the Firemaw page for more info on taking them out.

Master Elemental Shaper Krixix

Mind control this guy and he’ll teach any miner how to smelt elementium. He respawns every 12 hours, so you can come back with a Priest and learn it anytime the instance is cleared.

Ebonroc

Diagram

Everyone needs to have their Onyxia Scale Cloaks equipped. Clear the trash before Ebonroc then pull Ebonroc himself once he’s away from Flamegor. Tank him in the position the diagram shows. This guy is simple, especially if you slayed Firemaw! He has two tricks, one is the Flame Buffet from before (have an off-tank taunt when CT_Raid shows it incoming) and a skill known as Shadow of Ebonroc. This one is nasty as everytime he hits someone with it he’ll gain around 25k health! Have an off-tank taunt it off of the maintank anytime this happens. Also keep Mortal Strike up on Ebonroc. He does a Shadow Flame as well, so have an off-tank (or two) on the otherside of him ready to taunt when the announcement comes up.

Most guilds who take out Firemaw can complete this guy easily as he’s no where near as difficult. The only key factors here are your Rogues not doing too much damage and pulling aggro and your Warriors on the ball with Taunt.

Flamegor

Flamegor is a copy of Ebonroc but with the ability to frenzy instead of heal himself. So you need your Hunters to set up a “tranq shot rotation” similar to what you do in Molten Core. Basically anytime he enrages you need to tranq shot him, so an order of Hunters need to be set-up to ensure he can be tranq shotted anytime he does it. Outside of that he’s pretty much the exact same thing but with the need to have Fire Resist on everyone since when he enrages he does a “Fire Nova” attack that hits everyone around him, but is easily negated by fire resist.

With Flamegor down, it’s only an issue of clearing to Chromaggus, the second to last boss of Blackwing Lair.
