This section concludes our leveling guide from level 60 to 70. This guide showed you the fastest way to level from 60 to level 70. This is from our experience and research and has proved to be very fast, however there is always room for improvement. So if you see spots for tweaks, please send them in!

By the time you have completed Netherstorm will will very likely be 3/4 of the way to level 70, or there already. At this point you have several options. You can Grind out the last little bit of experience in Netherstorm, head to Shadowmoon Valley and grind out the level on the demons by the entrance to the zone, run a few instances to level or Continue with some additional quests until you reach 70.

I would suggest grinding out the level as that way all the quests in Shadowmoon become worth much more gold due to the experience to gold conversion.

Just in case you want to quest it out though, here are the quest chains to start in Shadowmoon Valley.

Level Sixty Nine to Seventy

Shadowmoon Valley

Click the image to open a seperate window to our quest database, where you can find additional information on each quest, larger maps and more.

You enter Shadowmoon Valley from the east edge of Terokkar Forest, and your first stop should be Shadowmoon Village to grab the flight point and your starting quests.
The quests to grab first should be "Besieged!", "The Fate of Kagrosh", "What Strange Creatures", "A Haunted History" and "The Sketh'lon Wreckage".
You can finished "Besieged!" right out front of Shadowmoon Village by killing the Infernals landing out front. Also complete "A Haunted History" by killing the MOBs all around the area.
Turn them both in for "To Legion Hold" and "Spectrecles".
Finish "Spectrecles" right in the village by putting them on and killing the ghosts that you can then see. Turn it in for "Teron GoreFiend - Lore and Legend".
Head to Legion Hold which is south west of the village and up the hill. The item you need to complete "To Legion Hold" is located around 23,36. Turn it in back at the village for "Setting up the Bomb".

Legion Hold is an excellent place to grind out the last bit of your way to 70. You can either down demons over and over again, or head to the top of the hill and take out the Shadow Council Warlocks there. They spawn repeatedly around the towers and the top and can be killed insanely fast, and pop up over and over again. As a bonus they have excellent drop rates for gold and cloth.

"Setting up the Bomb" can be completed back at Legion Hold by getting the power core at 26,40 and the armor plate at 22, 35. Head back to town again, this time to get "Blast the Infernal's!".
Return to Legion Hold to "Blast the Infernal's" at the top of the area. When done turn it in for "The Deathforge" back at Shadowmoon Village.
Head out the east exit of the village to find the reptiles for "What Strange Creatures..." in the lake that runs north-south along the edge of the village. When done head east into Sketh'lon to complete "The Sketh'lon Wreckage" near 35,30.
Turn these in for "Find the Deserter" and "Frankly, It makes no Sense...".
Head east again out of the village and then along the south road where you can find Parshah near 35,35 to complete "Find the Deserter" and get "Asghar's Totem".
Complete "Asghar's Totem" in Sketh'lon around 40,30. Then turn it in for "The Rod of Lianthe".
Go to "The Deathforge" located just south east of there at 38,38 and get "Minions of the Shadow Council".
You can complete "Minions of the Shadow Council" in the tunnels of the Deathforge at 40,40.
Next head to the far south near the edge of the zone at 47,71 for "The Rod of Lianthe" which is found in a lockbox.
Since you are at the southern edge of the zone anyway, head east to turn in "Teron GoreFiend - Lore and Legend" at the alter at 58,70.
He will give you three follow up quests which are all group based. Save them for when you can find a group. They are: "Divination: Gorefiend's Cloak", "Divination: Gorefiend's Truncheon" and "Divination: Gorefiend's Armor".
Turn it in for "Sketh'lon Feathers" which can be found near the road by the first bridge along the south road in the zone near 43,54.
Turn in the feathers and get the "Imbuing the Headpiece" quest which can be completed at the alter found in the middle of the zone at 42,42.
This leads to "Thwart the Dark Conclave" which is done in Eclipse Point to the south at 41,62.

Someplace through these quests you should have hit level 70. Also at this point most of the quests become group based quests or faction quests (either Scryer or Aldor).

You should now focus on exploring any unfinished quest chains from earlier that where group based or factional quests to gain more rep and gold.

Enjoy life at the top of the food chain!
