Continuing your adventures as a Forsaken Undead in...
Silverpine Forest
Introduction
Once you have completed your adventures as a Forsaken in Tirisfal Glades your next move is to Silverpine Forest to the south. Here you will find the Sepulcher and the apothecary Renferrel. Here you really start your journey and you will spend quite a few levels advancing through quests to advance your knowledge of the Scourge.
No race is more isolated than the Forsaken. Fighting not only against the Alliance forces but also the Undead Scourge held in ghastly thrall by the Lich King, few among even their allies in the Horde ranks would deem them trustworthy. Their presence is an aberration against nature, and their core motivations under the demon lord Verimathras are cloudy at best. Despite all the distrust, you'll note that many of the Forsaken simply wish to carry on their lives as before the Plague came; as you journey through Tirisfal Glades you'll see the twisted trappings of a humdrum existence. Apart from a few morbidly ambitious apothecaries, the Forsaken stance is predominantly defensive. In many ways, the Forsaken are two things they never wished to be: alive and alone. Yet, in defiance of their fate- an attitude reminiscent of the humans they once were, they carry on despite the circumstances. You can see why some have called World of Warcraft's Undead a role player's dream come true.
The things you need to know
At this stage in the game it is still fairly easy to just solo the quests to gain experience and levels. It is more enjoyable though if you can find or make a few friends to adventure with. The experience cut for working in a group is ok, since you can kill more MOBs faster and work through the quests without dieing as much as you would alone.
There are a few major quest lines in Silverpine that will push you along through the levels, however they all have a break point where it becomes impossible to proceed on them without either going to level solo in the Barrens, grind here or form a full group to beat the quest. My preference is a group, but that isn't always possible. I you can't find a group you should look to adventure in the Barrens or to do Ragefire Chasm in Ogrimmar or Wailing Caverns in the Barrens.
Other quick notes: Make sure you have picked your primary professions so that you can level them up while leveling your character. Silverpine Forest is rich with resources of every type, and if you don't start soon you will have to head back to find these starter resources later. Just as important is your first aid, fishing and cooking skills. Get them early and keep them leveled. Even if you don't think you will need them (and I've done that with a Priest before), you will in the end, so start getting them now.

Walk through
To get to Silverpine Forest you simply follow the road leading south of the Undercity. For further travel advice you can check out the Travel Guide to establish your surroundings, you still will not be traveling very far though. The first quest you have that will have you head to Silverpine will be Delivery to Silverpine Forest from Apothecary Johaan in Brill.
Head south into Silverpine Forest and continue until you come to the Sepulcher. This is the main village in Silverpine and the location that you will return to get most of your quests. My suggestion is to either bind your hearthstone here or in the Undercity for fast trips back for quests and leveling.
Once you are in the Sepulcher take a few minutes to talk to everyone and gather up all the available quests. When you first get here you should have the following available to you: Prove your Worth from Dalar Dawnweaver, Supplying the Sepulcher from Deathguard Podrig, and Lost Deathstalkers from High Executor Hadrec. Prove your worth starts a long quest chain that will keep you occupied for quite a while, the chain is called Arugal's Folly. It is one of the main quest chains in Silverpine Forest.
To prove your worth you just need to leave town and hunt to the north and south of the road. There are plenty of Moonrage Whitescalps around to kill. While out of town, head north to the Ivar Patch (the last farm to the north before entering Trisifal again) and talk to Rane who will give you the Wild Hearts to try and save his brother Quinn and The Deathstalkers report to turn into Hadrec. The Worgs that you need are all around the camp. Kill enough to get the required hearts and head back to the Sepulcher to the Apothecary and High Executor Hadrec.
Apothecary Renferrel will brew a potion to heal Quinn and send you back the Ivar patch to administer it, with the Return to Quinn quest. You are also at least level 12 by now and will likely be given the A Recipe for Death quest by the Apothecary as well. When you turn in the prove your worth quest you will get the first Argul’s Folly Quest, to go and retrieve a book for Dalar. Shadow Priest Allister will also have you travel south to collect the contents of a crate for Border Crossings.
You can head north to get the bear and spider parts from a sub-zone called the Skittering Dark, that is located north and west of the Sepulcher. After collecting the gore covered parts, head to the Ivar Patch and return the potion to Quinn. You can now get another quest from his brother out front to kill Ivar the Foul, who is located in the barn beside them. Enter carefully though as the barn is full of tight pulls. After this you can head south again, make sure you stop at Valgan’s Field for the spell book for Dalar on the way though. It is on the second story of the building along the southern edge of the field. Make sure you are ready for the level 12 that spawns when you get the book. Head south of the Sepulcher to find the Dalaran wizards camp west of the road. Near the hills behind them to the west you will find a supply tent and several boxes. One of the boxes can be looted and gives you Dalar’s Analysis. After that head back to the Sepulcher.
At the Sepulcher you can get The Dead Fields quest that starts the Rot Hide chain and the next part of Argul’s Folly. Shadow Priest Allister will also give you the Ambermill Investigations quest. You can also turn in a recipe for death to Renferrel to get the next part (also called A Recipe for Death). You will need to leave this quest for the next little bit though as Apothecary Berard is higher werewolf located deep in Pyrewood behind many level 15 and 16 elite MOBs, you really need a group to get there anytime before level 20. The shadow priest will have an additional quest for you called Ambermill investigations.
Head out of town and Argul’s Folly takes you to the north again to collect shackles from the Moonrage Gluttons and Darksouls. They can be found in North Tide’s Hollow which is just south of the Skittering Dark. The Dead Fields are located just north of town and you can complete this quest on the way back. Just kill the MOBs there until the banshee appears in the middle of the field. Kill her and then head south to complete the Ambermill Investigations. Just outside of Ambermill kill the various MOBs until you have enough of the pendants and then head back to the Sepulcher. There the shadow priest will provide the last quest in the chain called The Weaver.
Dalar will give you the fourth part of the Arugal’s Folly chain which is to head to Deep Elem Mine to kill a werewolf hiding in the back of the mine called Grimson the Pale. You can also turn in the Dead Fields quest and you will be given the task to investigate the Decrepit Ferry to the east. The mine is located just south and east of the Sepulcher and the quest. Once you are done at the mine, head north to the ferry. There you can search it to find a ring, which starts the quest Rot Hide Clues which has you return the ring to Hadrec at the Sepulcher.
When you give the ring to Hadrec he hands back The Engraved Ring and asks you to seek more information in Brill. He also gets you to set out to Fenris Isle across the lake to the east to collect Rot Hide Ichor Samples. While collecting the samples you are likely to find a head that drops as loot and will start the Resting in Pieces chain. Hang on to the head in inventory for now, but unless you are a rogue you are not likely to be able to get to the body just yet.
When you get back to the Apothecary to turn in the ichor he sends you to take the sample to the Undercity on the Rot Hide Origins quest. Use this as a quick training and re-supply detour as you could probably use one about now. When you land, head out of the Undercity to Brill to talk to Magistrate Sevren. The Magistrate will send you back to the Undercity to talk to Raleigh Adrean in the Trade Quarter. He will send you on the quest A Husband’s Revenge. Next head to the Magic Quarter of the Undercity and talk to Bethor Iceshard who will next give you the quest in the Rot Hide chain, Thule Ravenclaw.
When complete in Brill and the Undercity, return to Apothecary Renferrel in the Sepulcher to turn in the Thule quest. He will then send you on to Report to Hadrec. Hadrec asks that you perform an Assault on Fenris Isle, but this is a quest you will have to leave for a while of find a group for as it is a high level elite quest. You will also receive a request from the Apothecary to Journey to Hillsbrad to talk to the Apothecary there and return. This can be done at any point, just ensure you stay on the road so you are not attacked by MOBs. Also make sure you get the flight point while you are there.
Around level 19 or 20 you can head to Pyrewood to deal with the three quests there the last of the Arugal’s Folly chain, the Recipe for Death quest and head into the town hall to get Pyrewood Ambush and kill the town council. If you can find a group wanting to do this quest earlier you should be able to complete it with three or four level 15’s or 16’s.
While you have the group together you should also head a little further south to the Greyman wall to find Valdred Moray for the husband’s revenge quest. On the way back to the Sepulcher your group should take on the Dalar Arch Mage in Ambermill. It is a fairly easy quest with a group, but solo would have to wait until at least level 20.
At this point you are either high enough level to take on Resting in Pieces and the Assault on Fenris Isle or have enough friends that you can group to do them. Head into the walled area and head to the right to find the stables and the body for the talking head. There the head will give you the Hidden Niche quest to seek out his body in the keep.
The hidden niche can be found in the south-western tower of the keep. There you will find a woven wand that starts the Wand to Bethor quest.
Thule Ravenclaw can be found in the top room of the keep on Fenris Isle, so head in and make your way to the top to fight him. As you enter his room keep to the back wall so you will not aggro all the MOBs. You should be able to pull the room in a few pulls and not have to deal with all of them at once. When you have beaten Thule head back to the Sepulcher to claim your reward. You should also take the wand to Bethor Iceshard in the Magic Quarter in the Undercity.
The last quests you will receive from the Sepulcher are from High Executor Hadrec to find his Deathstalkers in Shadowfang and Arugal Must Die from Dalar Dawnweaver. Both are in Shadowfang Keep, the instance to the south, by Pyrewood and are meant for slightly higher level players. For a complete guide and a list of other quests located there, check out our guide to Shadowfang Keep.

What's next?
The Barrens is always an interesting place to adventure and likely one that you will have to visit to hit level 20. If you can stomach the Chuck Norris nonsense in broadcast chat, the Barrens in Kalimdor is a must stop-in-zone for Horde players. It involves a quick trip on the zeppelin (the Thunder Bluff guide offers a concise method to get from Undercity to Thunder Bluff and the Barrens is on the way, so check out this guide if you need directions!).
Once you have reached level 20 a few more options open up, such as a few quests in Ashenvale, Stonetalon Peaks and Hillsbrad foothills. All three zones are interesting although if you are looking for a group and fast leveling Hillsbrad is likely the choice for you.
