Continent to Continent Transportation. |
In this section of our travel guide we look at Continent to Continent Transportation.
There are several ways to get from one continent to another. Probably the most commonly used now is active transportation. By that I mean transportation that happens due to a player or their group taking some action to teleport them someplace instantly. There are many player and terrain based teleportation methods such as:
- A mage's ability to create a portal to any capital city of their faction
- A druid's ability to teleport to Moonglade
- A warlock's ability to summon players
- Summoning stones
- The portals to capital cities found in Shattrath
- The Dark Portal located in the Blasted Lands in Azeroth and Hellfire Peninsula in the Outlands
There are also the older more time consuming methods. These are the boats and zeppelins that are found in various areas and are free of charge. As a bonus they do not require a visit to the destination first (obviously, since it's a long swim!). This is the first way many players see the other continents, however once you level past 60, they are rarely used.
