A class will represent which archetype your character will resemble within Azeroth. Characters may only choose a class that belongs to their race and may only pick one class. You can not change your class later in the game, but if you’re below level twenty then rerolling to another class should not be a problem. Classes will limit you in what abilities you can use (almost all abilities within World of Warcraft belong to only one class), what armor and weapons you can use, and the responses of many NPCs.

There are nine classes within World of Warcraft. Each class represents a very unique gameplay style. For instance, Warriors get toe to toe with their enemies while Mages stand far away and sling devastating spells. Each class has its own feel and sometimes you’ll have to play through several classes to pick what you want.

If you need more information on a class then feel free to visit our various class guides. Our class guides contain everything you could possibly want to know about the various classes. We’ve got all their skills, their important armor sets, talent builds, and much more, so be sure to head that way to find out more detailed information.
