6.1.3 - PvP General Strategies

  • Never stop moving! (makes you a hard target for LOS spells and makes wailing on you with a weapon harder)
  • Don't use Big Heals, I find it's too easy to get interuppted, plus you stop moving!, Use Regen+Shield+Run instead.
  • Always keep a DoT on the enemy (It's our most efficient Damage/mp spell)
  • Hit Psychic Scream as much as possible, since it buys you about 10 secs of free time, but has a 26-30 sec cool down)
  • Debuff them! (take out Hp/Mp buffs, and pesky shadow resist/absorbs)
  • Wear lots if +Int & +Stam, Mana is Life, and Life is Life.. Smile (not Spirit isn't gonna help you in a duel) [ Chidori of Durotan ]

6.1.4 - PvP (Group Fights)

  • ... be as obscure as possible when healing your group in PvP. There is nothing better than to do a 5v5 and have no one die because the enemy had no idea where the little sparkly heals were coming from. Hiding behind a tree, or getting partially behind a rock can be the edge you need to not have an entire group of enemies light you up. [ Elpato of Sargeras ]
  • Well, one thing to do for sure is make sure you are not in the lead. I tend to be second to last in the train of folks as we move. This makes it so the first person seen by the enemy isn't me, and removing their sheepness is easy to do. Removing poly from me on the other hands is difficult unless there's a shammy around. [ Agathon of Magtheridon ]
  • Stay in back basically usually does wonders except against rogues. They purposely hunt for Priests who stand still in the back ranks. I'll never stop moving unless I need to heal basically. Otherwise, I'd be asking for a dagger in my back. People always try to kill me first. I'll kite them around shielded while other people beat on them. [ Agathon of Magtheridon ]
