I adore Neill Blomkamp. If I met him in real life, I'm fairly confident I'd cry. To see him direct a short trailer for Anthem, a game I didn't anticipate to love, but thoroughly do, is just amazing. He has an incredible ability to make sci-fi very real. He and Oats Studios work wonders on low budgets, that blend CGI into the real world with seamless results. The trailer from him, titled Conviction, is incredible. It's desperate for a series, and shows all the potential game IPs have in offering something more. Conviction might not instantly give its plot away, and at a little over 3 minutes long there's a lot to fit in, but it gives a wonderful taste of the universe. Take a look below.
