Blizzard Entertainment announced yesterday that they've formed their very own publishing house. Actually they did it a while ago (since you can already buy the books), they're just telling us now:

Blizzard Publishing will help maintain the lore and legacy of the company’s earliest novels and manga while also providing a variety of new ways for people to engage with Blizzard’s rich worlds and characters. Several of Blizzard Publishing’s upcoming releases will be available in multiple formats, such as print, audiobook, and e-book.

Longtime MMO gamers and pre-WotC D&D enthusiasts will recognize names like Jeff Grubb, Christie Golden, and Richard A. Knaak, authors commissioned to write a bevy of Blizzard Legends novels and manga centered on the Warcraft universe.

We're especially excited for the coloring book (since the WoW Cookbook is currently sold out), and have our Crayola Stormwind Blue and Orc Gray - no, Green! ... wrong universe - all laid out on the kitchen table.

Find Blizzard Publishing wherever fine (if eclectic) books are sold, or just go to gear.blizzard.com.
