See, they DO care!

While not technically "new" news (this program has been going on for a while), the guild relations program that Blizzard has may have flown under your radar until now.

Blizzard is rewarding active World of Warcraft Guilds with invitations to participate in the Guild Relations Program. Guilds inducted into the program will be included on a dedicated page linked to on the WorldofWarcraft.com community website listing the name of the guilds in the program, details about each guild, and links to their websites. they will also be eligible to participate in upcoming beta tests and receive invitations to live online chat sessions with Blizzard game designers. Q&A updates will also be posted in the Guild Relations forum based on feedback received directly from members of the program.

The inaugural members of the Guild Relations Program are Sleeper Cartel, Resurrection, Your Quest Log is Full, Blackrock Legends and Exanimus.
