The next morning…



The mystery continues:

The figure slipped away from the tavern at haste,
as if propelled by an
unseen force. He moved silently through the streets, hugging the
shadows, keeping out of sight.



Once he reached his residence, a quick scan of the entire area revealed
he had not been followed. Once inside, he scurried from room to room,
confirming the house was empty and un-disturbed. Once satisfied, he sat
himself down at the table. Even though it was the dead of night, a
certain level of nervousness and unease filled the figure. With an
anxious breath, he opened up the folded slip carefully and with
frequent looks up and about, he attentively read it.



The list was confusing. After five or ten minutes, his tense muscles
began to relax as he realised this was going to be more complex than he
originally thought.



"Ya-dul La-us-ian", he thought to himself, "What have you got yourself
into?"



The list itself was nothing more than a collection of riddles. Ten of
them to be precise. Even with his mage's intelligence, Ya-dul could not
make 'head nor tail’ of these riddles! Alas, his knowledge of
Stormreach and its surrounding areas was not as deep as was required to
crack these cryptic clues.



"I’m going to need to get a lot more help on this", Ya-Dul whispered,
"A lot more help…"
