Blizzard announced today that they are extending their weekly maintenance hours. Details are shown below and can be found at the Blizzard Realm Status Forums.

Starting with scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, all scheduled maintenance will be performed with a new schedule that begins at 5 AM and ends at 11 AM PST. This will allow us the window of time we need to perform the necessary maintenance tasks to our infrastructure as part of our continued efforts in improving realm stability and performance. We realize that this is inconvenient, yet we believe that it will result in an overall improvement for our player base.
