For the first time in a long time, I'm truly excited for a new Hero in Heroes of the Storm. The last was Lunara and Gul'dan - being one of my favorite characters from Blizzard - looks exceptional. The combination of Life Tapping while also maintaining your health through draining enemies is exciting and should make for a powerful solo Hero.

Where the patch notes are concerned, Greymane got a significant buff to his kit and damage with a variety of talents improved (including Marked for the Kill). There's also some significant improvements for Jaina, while Lunara's level 7 talent got a nerf (booo!). Other notable changes include a whole host of shake-up for Zagara.
