The ninth major expansion for Neverwinter is just around the corner, with the PC release date for Neverwinter: The Maze Engine scheduled for March 15, 2016. No word on when the expansion will be released for Xbox One players, though it will no doubt follow soon after the PC edition based on previous release windows.

The Maze Engine picks up following the events of Neverwinter: Underdark and introduces two new demon lords for you to throw virtual tomatoes at: The Horned King Baphomet and Orcus, the Prince of Undeath. Apparently Baphomet and his demon pals guard the Maze Engine, while Orcus has taken control of Castle Never (probably not to throw a spring break party, but you never know!).

Due to the events of the expansion, Castle Never will be seeing a massive overhaul. There will also be a new campaign to chew on, mount customization, and improved queue system, and loads more as is the norm for Neverwinter expansions.
