Blizzard posted a new page on their website today that details changes that are under development in the game. Some are short term (in next patch) while some are long term goals. Definitely a site that should be added to your check often list.

New "Under Development" Page!
The world of Azeroth is continually growing, with new challenges and new rewards always on the horizon. To give you a glimpse of the upcoming features and improvements coming to World of Warcraft, we are debuting a new "Under Development" Page. We will continue to update and improve it regularly. Our next update will include some screenshots of upcoming features. A permanent link to this page can be found as "Coming Soon" under the Game Info menu on the left side.
