Our very own World Cup. Better run than the Olympics.

PROGRAM

The Overwatch World Cup is an international exhibition celebrating the diverse skills and nuanced teamwork of Overwatch.

National teams from every continent will be organized into groups and do battle in best-of-three online qualifiers to determine which of them will progress to BlizzCon. The bright lights of international competition will shine on the teams making the trip to Southern California: four from the Americas, six from Europe, and six from the Asia-Pacific region.

The BlizzCon adventure itself includes an appearance fee and the full Opening Week experience before heading to Anaheim.

VOTING

If you’ve answered the call from Overwatch and you’re ready to log in to your Battle.net account and vote, you can help shape your national team with a few clicks. Your Battle.net account’s region and country will determine the national team you’ll be nominating.

As an eligible voter, you can check the list of ranked players and their character preferences before selecting a total of four players you would like to represent your country in the Overwatch World Cup.

After the voting is complete, Blizzard will choose the players to round out the national teams. A designated team captain will consult with Blizzard on the final six-player rosters and the full teams will be revealed on August 29. Check the official rules for more information.

Head to the official page to vote!
