After a brief break in out Site of the Day series, we look at the Horde area of Thousand Needles. Thousand Needles is an area for middle level characters (from about 28 - 35) and is located just south of the Barrens.
Thousand Needles is made up of two main areas, a gorge filled with rock structures and a salt flat type area called the shimmering flats. The main village in the area is in the located in the gorge area, while the shimmering flats section houses a goblin race track. The gorge area has many quests based around 28 - 32 level characters, while the flats has a large number of quests of a slightly higher level (32-35).
