Maintenance this week... good for some, bad for others!

For this week's maintenance, there are some realms due to have considerably extended down time (36 hours), as they are being moved onto new hardware.

The following realms will be taken down for extended database maintenance on Tuesday, November 14 at 5:00 AM PST. This maintenance is expected to extend until Wednesday, November 15 at 5:00 PM PST. During this time, we will be transferring data onto a new storage solution in preparation for the forthcoming expansion. This continues the preparation we have been doing with all of our realms to optimize hardware and performance in the future. We appreciate your patience as we continue to improve upon the service provided.

The realms listed below will remain online to undergo a series of diagnostics during this week’s maintenance. This should not impact the play experience on these realms, but we will monitor their performance throughout the week for any issues and react accordingly. The realms listed with extended maintenance (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=46215642&sid=1) will continue to undergo their maintenance, and all other realms not listed will observe their normal maintenance of Tuesday, November 14 from 5:00 AM PST until approximately 11:00 AM PST.
