Blizzard decided to do a few special events today for the European release and the Lunar New Year in Korea. Blizzard published the following news.

European players celebrated the end of their beta test by shooting fireworks and dancing, only to be suddenly met with a barrage of demons spawning in their neighborhood!

In Korea, players welcomed in the Lunar New Year by wearing festive clothes and greeting friends and family in Azeroth. In recognition of the year of the chicken, El Pollo Grande made an entrance and promptly began polymorphing players into chickens. Unfortunately, some players got a little hungry and decided to hold a giant chicken roast. There are 2 pictures available of this as well: picture1 and picture2.
